A new cycle

I wanted to start differently. You know that dream that slowly ceased to exist? It became energy. Just energy — the kind stored deep inside that infinite, unknowable consciousness of ours. That's how it was, almost every day. I wanted to start differently. But you or I... who knows, we were afraid to feel. Or maybe just afraid to say it, to lose it, to dream again.

That night I lost myself in the vastness of the universe. My eyes, in the darkness, plunged into an endless sky filled with stars. I was enchanted. And in your eyes, I saw an enchantment too. We are so small and insignificant in front of all this immensity. To be honest: I wanted to start differently. To travel at the speed of light, until I collided with those high-energy nebulae scattered across every corner of the universe. To float, to smile, to breathe.

They shimmer, like your eyes. And I get lost among the stars. Without direction, without answers. As fragile as a soap bubble. That at any moment, vanishes into the air and becomes tiny particles of energy. Nothing but good memories.
